Ingredients  

  • 2 1/2 cups warm water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3 tsp instant yeast
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 6 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp salt

Instructions

  • In a stand mixer, combine sugar, yeast, and warm water. Allow it to sit for 10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  • In a separate bowl, mix salt and flour together.
  • After 10 minutes, add vegetable oil to the yeast mixture, then turn on the mixer.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients until the dough forms. It should be easy to remove from the bowl but may stick to your fingers.
  • Let the dough rise in a greased bowl for about an hour or until it doubles in size.
  • Preheat the oven. Divide the dough into 4 parts and roll each part out into your desired pizza crust thickness.
  • Poke the dough with a fork and bake in the preheated oven until it’s half-baked.
  • Remove the partially baked crust from the oven. Add your favorite pizza sauce and toppings.
  • Put the pizza back in the oven and bake until the crust is golden brown and the toppings are cooked to your liking.
